I am a Tri-Cities native having grown up in Richland and graduating from Richland High School.  I have been fishing this section of river for over 25 years and running a boat for over 18 years.  I have fished Salmon and Steelhead in this stretch of river almost exclusively.  Having fished bass and walleye tournaments I have a true understanding of what fish do and why they do it in the Mid-Columbia.  After jumping into the  Washington and Columbia River Walleye Circuits 8 years ago I have finished top 10 in 18 of my last 21 walleye tournaments.  Recently I earned the title of Columbia River Circuit Angler of the Year which is a testament to my persistence to be the best on the river.  I take this same mentality into all of my fishing endeavors.

After graduating college I have steadily built my guide service into a full time job after only 4 years of guiding.  I strive to build repeat customers because I feel it is important for each and every person to enjoy their fishing experience.  I am very laid back and understand that everyone has their own level of fishing experience.  I adapt to all skill levels to deliver the best experience possible.  When you book with Hedden’s Northwest Sportfishing, this is your trip.  I will do whatever I can to make it live up to your every expectation.

I take pride in developing new techniques.  I like to live by the saying “innovate don’t imitate”.  Anybody that has fished with me knows how much pride I take at putting fish in the boat doing something different.
