Shad are a hard fighting fish that shows up in very large numbers in late May and early June.  Fishing is often fast and furious and great for families.  With consistent action being the norm, kids love this fishery.

 

Half-day trips are available for this fishery which takes place below McNary Dam.  This is a great trip for beginning fisherman of all ages!
